Southwestern Speckled Rattlesnake


      Crotalus m. phyrrus is a medium sized desert dwelling rattlesnake indigenous to arid regions of California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah and northern Mexico. These are probably the most variable of all rattlesnakes in color. Their color can be vary by the desert mountain on which they are found. Beautiful in many forms they can be red, orange, white, gray, and even blue.
